Accessibility Statement
Last updated: 29 August 2026
Direct2Customer is committed to making our website accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We believe that all of our customers deserve a positive, inclusive shopping experience.
Our Commitment
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities, including those with visual, hearing, motor and cognitive impairments.
What We Are Doing
We are actively working to improve the accessibility of our website. Steps we have taken or are working towards include:
- Using clear, plain English throughout our content
- Ensuring sufficient colour contrast between text and backgrounds
- Adding descriptive alt text to product images
- Making our site navigable by keyboard as well as mouse
- Ensuring forms have clear labels and error messages
- Using a responsive design that works across desktop, tablet and mobile devices
- Providing clear headings and page structure to aid screen reader navigation
Known Limitations
While we strive to meet accessibility standards, some areas of our website may not yet fully conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA. We are aware of the following limitations and are working to address them:
- Some older product images may not yet have descriptive alt text
- Some third-party app content embedded on our site may not be fully within our control
We are continually reviewing and improving our website with accessibility in mind.

Note that as a private business, we are not legally required to comply with these regulations, but we voluntarily commit to working towards WCAG 2.1 Level AA as best practice.
