Doublebase Flare Relief Emollient 100g is a highly moisturising, protective and steroid-free emollient specially formulated for dry, inflamed and eczema-prone skin that is susceptible to flare-ups. Its unique dual-action formula combines intensive moisturisation with 4% nicotinamide, a vitamin B derivative that provides supplementary anti-inflammatory action to help reduce redness, soreness and inflammation.

Suitable for adults, elderly people and children from 1 year of age, Doublebase Flare Relief can be used as part of a daily skincare routine or during periods when dry skin becomes particularly irritated and inflamed. It is suitable for the management of mild to moderate eczema, dermatitis and psoriasis where supplementary anti-inflammatory action may be beneficial.

The 100g tube is ideal for convenient application at home or when travelling. The formulation contains 15% isopropyl myristate and 15% liquid paraffin, which help moisturise, soften and protect the skin, alongside glycerol to support moisture retention.

How Doublebase Flare Relief Works

Dry and inflamed skin can have a weakened protective barrier, resulting in increased moisture loss and greater susceptibility to irritation. Doublebase Flare Relief provides an emollient base to moisturise and protect the skin while nicotinamide provides supplementary anti-inflammatory action.

Regular use can help keep dry skin moisturised and protected, while its additional anti-inflammatory action makes it particularly suitable when skin is experiencing periods of increased redness, soreness and irritation.

Directions for Use

Gently smooth Doublebase Flare Relief Emollient over and around all dry or inflamed areas using a few light strokes in the direction of hair growth. Avoid vigorous rubbing and allow any excess product to absorb.

The product can be applied three times daily or as often as required, including during flare-ups. It may also be used regularly as part of an ongoing dry-skin management routine.

If using other topical medicines, follow their instructions and allow the appropriate time for them to absorb before applying Doublebase Flare Relief. If there is no improvement within 2–4 weeks, consult your doctor, nurse or pharmacist.
