3 Ways to Use Epaderm Ointment

1. Directly on the Skin

Apply Epaderm Ointment generously and frequently, including when the skin has improved. Gently smooth the ointment over the skin in the direction of hair growth to help reduce the risk of blocking hair follicles.

2. As a Skin Cleanser

Epaderm Ointment can be used instead of ordinary soap. Take a small amount from the tub, work it under warm water and use it as a gentle cleanser. This can help cleanse dry skin without the additional drying effect associated with conventional soaps.

3. As a Bath Additive

Approximately 4g, around the size of a £2 coin or one teaspoon, can be used as a bath additive. Melt the ointment in a tumbler of hot water and allow it to cool sufficiently before adding it to the bath. Do not apply hot water directly to the skin. Take care when bathing because the product can make the bath surface slippery.
