How Epaderm Ointment Works

Epaderm Ointment forms a protective layer over the skin to help lock in moisture and reduce water loss. Its rich emollient base is particularly suitable for dry and compromised skin that requires intensive moisturisation.

The formulation combines yellow soft paraffin and liquid paraffin with cetomacrogol emulsifying wax to provide effective emollient and protective care.

3 Ways to Use Epaderm Ointment

1. As a Moisturiser

Apply generously and frequently to dry areas of skin. Gently smooth the ointment over the skin in the direction of hair growth, rather than rubbing vigorously.

For best results, use regularly to help maintain moisturised and comfortable skin.

2. As a Skin Cleanser

Epaderm Ointment can be used instead of conventional soap. Apply a small amount to the skin and gently cleanse with warm water.

This can help avoid the drying effects that ordinary soaps and detergents may have on dry or sensitive skin.

3. As a Bath Additive

Epaderm Ointment can also be used as a bath additive. A small amount can be melted in hot water, allowed to cool appropriately and then added to the bath.
