Germoloids Triple Action Haemorrhoids & Piles Cream 55g is a medicated cream that provides fast relief from the symptoms of internal and external haemorrhoids (piles) and anal itching. Its dual-action formula contains lidocaine hydrochloride, a local anaesthetic that helps numb pain and itching, and zinc oxide, which helps reduce swelling and protect irritated skin. The water-based cream also moisturises and soothes the affected area.

Uses

Germoloids Cream is used to:

• Relieve pain, itching, irritation, and discomfort associated with haemorrhoids (piles).
• Help reduce swelling of internal and external haemorrhoids.
• Soothe anal itching (pruritus ani).
• Protect sore and sensitive skin around the anus.
• Moisturise the affected area and help ease discomfort during bowel movements.

Directions for Use

Adults and children aged 12 years and over:

• Apply at least twice daily, allowing 3–4 hours between applications.
• Additional applications may be used after bowel movements if required.
• Do not use more than 4 times in any 24-hour period.
• For external piles, apply directly to the affected area.
• For internal piles, use the supplied applicator as directed in the leaflet.

Pregnancy and Breastfeeding

• Germoloids Cream can be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
• As with all medicines, pregnant or breastfeeding women should seek advice from a doctor, pharmacist, or midwife before use.

Precautions and Warnings

Do not use if:

• You are allergic to lidocaine, zinc oxide, or any of the ingredients in the cream.

Speak to a healthcare professional before use if:

• You have severe or recurring haemorrhoids.
• You experience excessive rectal bleeding.
• Symptoms persist despite treatment.

Additional precautions:

• For use in and around the anus only.
• Do not swallow.
• Wash hands before and after application.
• Not recommended for children under 12 years unless advised by a doctor.
• Contains methyl hydroxybenzoate (E218), which may cause allergic reactions, including delayed reactions.
• Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
• Store below 25°C.
